Crossing the Jebel Akhdar Mountain is one of my best experiences of my trip. Jebel Akhdar is referred to as Green Mountain, but don’t expect the mountain top here. It covers the great Saiq Plateau located 2000m above the sea level. This elevation makes you enjoy the cool weather. Its hidden labyrinth of wadis, great rainfall, gardens, and orchards makes the region justly prized.
